The first day of school is steadily approaching. Back to School Online Enrollment is officially open for PK-12th grade. If you need assistance, there will be staff in the cafeteria on Thursday, August 3, from 4:00-6:00 PM helping with enrollment. Additionally, for students in 7th-12th grades, Mrs. Kincannon will be in the high school helping those students complete and pick up their schedules. If you cannot attend on August 3, you may call Mrs. Kincannon or come by the school after that date to receive your class schedule.
Teachers and staff report back for inservice on Monday, August 7-Wednesday, August 9. Meet the Teacher night will be held Wednesday, August 9, from 4:00-6:00 PM for grades PK-6. This is a great time for students to see their classrooms, teachers, and friends. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies to their classrooms that evening as well. School supply lists can be found on the school website under “Parent Links” or on the app under “Documents”.
During that same time frame, incoming 7th graders have a chance to get a sneak peek of their new surroundings in the JH/HS building. Students will receive their class schedule, locker assignments, and chromebooks. They will also have the opportunity to see where all of their classes are located, ask questions, and even stock their locker if they wish. As a reminder, all 7th grade students must have Tdap shots before enrolling.
The Arnett Beta Club is hosting a fundraiser through Cunningham Peaches in Colorado. If you would like to pre-order peaches, pears, or honey, please contact a Jr. or Sr. Beta member, or you may email Mrs. Burcham at jburcham@arnett.k12.ok.us with your order. Produce will be delivered to Arnett on August 30. Pre-orders are due by August 16.
