This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Sean Sanchez. Sean's teacher's had this to say about him : "Sean is one of the hardest workers we have at AHS. He never backs down from a challenge, he is committed to those who believe in him, and he is willing to help anyone who asks even when it doesn’t benefit him directly. Sean is one of those students who sees a need and shows up to help without being asked or it being expected. He wants to better himself, his team, and his school." Congratulations, Sean!

After weather-related cancellations of all sporting events on Monday, the HS Softball team hosted Seiling on Tuesday while the JH traveled the 45 miles East to battle the Wildcats on their home turf. AHS came away with a 6-2 win, but the JH came up short against a tough Seiling team. Arnett hosted a JH Softball Festival on Thursday. The 6-8th grade girls split with a loss to Leedey and a win over Vici. In Wildcat Baseball this week both the JH and HS teams took losses at Hammon on Tuesday. The JH played in the Shattuck Invitational Tournament Thurs-Fri. A first round win against Woodward and a second round loss to Shattuck put them in third place with a win against Leedey.
The Lady Wildcats spent Thursday and Friday at Hall of Fame Stadium in OKC. They went two for two in game play including losses to the #1 ranked 4A Dale Lady Pirates (0-16) and the #4 ranked 5A Cache Bulldogs (2-17). They beat class B Carney (19-1) and class 4A Stroud (5-0) leaving them at 9-2 on the season thus far.
Senior Brianna Marenco slides into home against Cache on Friday at HOF stadium.
Ready, Set, GO!!!! The Arnett 2nd grade class waits anxiously in front of the 1st grade class for the whistle to blow so they can find all the eggs the 6th grade class hid earlier in the day.
