Jackie

Jackie Plymesser is retiring after serving Arnett Public Schools for 38 years as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Within those 38 years, Jackie worked for eight different superintendents, developing a wealth of knowledge, and being known for her precise care of all her financial duties. While at Arnett Schools, Jackie also shared her talents by playing the piano for graduations, school programs, and 5th & 6th grade choirs. She also helped sponsor several senior trips and State & National TSA Conventions with her husband, Tripp.

Jackie is a 1971 graduate of Arnett High School. She furthered her education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Education. She taught Business Education at Ft. Supply Public Schools from 1977-1982 before moving back to Arnett where she worked at the Ellis County Capital for one year and Arnett Ford Tractor for three years. After that is when she took the job at Arnett Schools in 1986.

Jackie has been married to Tripp Plymesser for 50 years. They have two children: Shawn and Shelli; a son-in-law, Jason; and three grandchildren, Bailey, Braden, and Bristen. Jackie enjoys jigsaw puzzles, needle work, and gardening.

Jackie will be greatly missed by the staff and administration at Arnett Schools. When advice was sought, a mistake needed fixed, or an answer was desired, Jackie was the go-to person due to her expertise and attention to detail.
