Arnett Wildcat athletes have stayed active throughout the summer with basketball team camps, baseball games, and Summer Pride. Coaches and students are dedicated to being their best selves in their given sport, but also to building relationships and teamwork.

The girl’s and boy’s basketball teams were busy this June traveling to team camps. The girls participated in the Hammon team camp with Coach Tune and Coach Royal while the boys went to Lomega, Hydro, Leedey, and Buffalo with Coach Miller and Coach McDonald. The Arnett Junior High and High School Baseball teams have stayed active this summer as well by playing several games in May and June with Coach Burcham.

To stay prepared and conditioned for the upcoming sports’ seasons, Arnett coaches offered “Summer Pride” three days a week for incoming 6th-12th grade athletes. Summer Pride focuses on strength, conditioning, and agility, but it’s also a good social aspect and teambuilding time for students as well. Coach Royal facilitated the drills for the girl’s program while Coach Miller instructed the exercises during the boys’ workout. Our coaches and athletes show a high level of commitment to constant improvement and being their best.
