The first full week of school was jam packed with fun lessons, hands-on learning, baseball & softball games, service projects, fundraisers, and more. The school year is definitely in full swing!

Arnett Public Schools is starting off the year with 185 students enrolled in PK-12th grade, which is up 35 students from last year. The PK-6th grade enrollment is 115 with enrollment for grades 7th-12th being 70 students.

The Arnett Beta Club is hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, August 28, from 1:00-5:30 in the high school gym lobby. If you would like to sign up for a time to donate, please sign up through the Arnett Beta Club’s facebook page or contact Jena Burcham at jburcham@arnett.k12.ok.us.

Mr. Johnston and the Arnett FFA members hosted a community ice cream social on Wednesday, August 21st. There were games to play for the kids and the older students and adults. Community members enjoyed walking around the ag shop and seeing all the projects that students are working on. And of course, there was lots of delicious homemade ice cream made by parents/grandparents. FFA members are currently selling Blue & Gold and DJ’s if you’d like to order any sausage, bacon, or other products from a local student.
