Softball and baseball are coming close to the end of their fall seasons. Playoffs are right around the corner. They’ve had another busy week playing and preparing for Districts. 

The JH girls ended their season this week. They played Monday against Canadian and won. Thursday they had their last game against Seiling and ended their season with a win, 10-3. 

The JH boys also ended their season this past week. They played Hammon and ended their season with a win also!

The HS girls softball team traveled and played Mountain-View Gotebo. They ended with a 4-1 win. Thursday the HS girls were back on the road to Dale for a festival and took on the Broken Bow Lady Savage’s. They won again 10-8. They turned around and played Fairland and lost 0-2. Friday they played another double header. The first game they played Shawnee and won 9-0. The second game they took on Norman North and lost 2-9. 

The HS baseball team played Sweetwater at home on Monday. They won 9-8. Thursday they took on Fargo-Gage for the third time this season and lost 4-11. Friday they traveled to Vici and ended the week with a loss, 4-16. 


Tuesday, Sept. 24th the HS girls softball team will be hosting their Senior night vs. Arapaho. They will honor the seniors between games. The first game begins at 4:30.

Districts will be beginning at the end of this week. 

The HS softball team will play at 1 on Thursday at home vs Boise City. 

The boys play Milburn at 12 in Fort Cobb on Thursday. b


Wednesday, Sept. 18th, our FFA students traveled to Ft. Supply to compete in another shooting sports competition. Abbie Boyd was the top female shooter. Friday, Sept. 20th our students were invited to the Mead Ranch for a shoot to raise funds for WWDLS AG Mech. We plan to continue the great year with many more competitions to come!  Their next event will be Oct. 9th for the NW Area shooting competition.

In science class, the 6th graders have been learning about living organisms and the differences between plant and animal cells. They are preparing to build their own edible cells.

Congratulations to Eli Coykendall for being chosen as a Tenor 1 in the 2024 WOCDA HS Honor Choir!


This coming weekend will be the Arnett Ranch Rodeo. There will be many events going on Saturday. Our A-Town TV will be hosting the annual 5k run Saturday morning beginning at 7:00a.m. Also Saturday morning, our baseball boys will be hosting a pancake breakfast from 7:30-9:00a.m at the Christian Church fellowship hall (by donation only), so come out and support our boys by filling your belly with some pancakes.
