The Arnett BETA Club hosted this year’s Red Ribbon Week with the theme “Life is a Movie, Film Drug-Free,” encouraging students to stay drug-free while enjoying daily themed dress-up activities. The entire school, from Pre-K to 12th grade, participated in a lineup of creative days inspired by popular movies and characters.
The week kicked off on Monday with “Sleeping Beauty” Pajama Day, followed by Tuesday’s “Dora the Explorer” theme, where students brought creative alternatives to backpacks. On Wednesday, students wore colors from Inside Out to represent different emotions from the film, and on Thursday, everyone joined in the Halloween spirit by dressing up in costumes. The week wrapped up with “Freaky Friday,” where students dressed as teachers and teachers dressed as students, creating a fun role reversal to end the week.
The themed days offered a fun and engaging way to reinforce Red Ribbon Week’s message.
