As spring break approached, many elementary students celebrated reaching their A.R. (Accelerated Reader) goals for the nine-week period with special activities. Third-grade students enjoyed reading Because of Winn-Dixie and capped off their accomplishment by watching the movie, while enjoying popcorn and sodas. Meanwhile, fourth through sixth graders participated in a Mario Kart tournament and played Farkle while savoring nachos.

While some students took a well-deserved break, others were busy showcasing their hard work and dedication in agricultural and athletic pursuits.

At the Oklahoma Youth Expo (OYE) in Oklahoma City, students demonstrated their skills in Ag Mechanics and livestock competitions. Baxter Brown, Dayson West, Martin Sanchez, and Braydon Miller achieved an impressive feat, winning their class and earning the title of Division Champion in Ag Machinery with their fire truck project.
