Music teacher Nicki Broyles took 14 students from grades 4th through 8th to Laverne Monday for Circle the State With Song. These students have been working on their eight songs for months now and spent the entire day in practice for their performance Monday night. Those students were, (in no particular order) Chloe Wheeler, Carlie Dowler, Jozie Latta, Alex Strick, Bella Booth, Lola Coleman, Levi Cutsinger, Riah Latta, Hallie McCartor, Kinley Tolle, Lauryn Bayless, Charity Albert, Madison Haney and Abbie Boyd.
The 4th Graders took a short trip to Lake Vincent for reading class. They are reading “Hatchet” a story about a young boy who gets stranded near a lake in the woods of Canada. While at Lake Vincent the 4th graders wrote down what they could see, hear, and possible food sources
that might be available.
The FCA met last Wednesday evening for a devotion and team building games. 23 came out on a cold night to participate. Special thanks to sponsor Julie Thomas and her assistant Joe for putting it together.
The Arnett Livestock judging team will participate in a judging contest in Enid on February 1. We wish them the best of luck!
The Pre-K class has been busy using their IPads to learn. They've also been using manipulative to practice their counting skills.
