This week's Farmer's and Merchant's Bank "Banking on a Wildcat" goes to Jentri Eastep. Her teachers had this to say about her: "Jentri is a kind, inclusive student. What you see is what you get every single day with Jentri. You can always depend on Jentri to reach out to those who need included, to say a kind word to someone passing by, to always speak when spoken to, and to show compassion. Jentri has a demeanor that makes others feel included and safe to be themselves. Jentri accepts everyone for who they are." Congratulations, Jentri!

Well, after 11 rounds of staying in first place with the robot, these guys wound up 3rd in the last 4 final rounds. We had a fluke no score on a questionable gap in a 120 pt valve replacement that thwarted our plans to advance to Denver. Regardless, they brought two 3rd place trophies home (the other was for overall marketing, display & notebook) & an award for most innovative design. Not too bad for our 2nd year & 1st attempt at the overall BEST Competition.

What-A-Day! We had some kiddos step WAY out of their comfort zones today & it was great. Merced, Alyssa, Randy, Rylee, & Lola started us off with the first Marketing presentation of the day. They had to sell our company “Robotidocs” Shark Tank style. Then Randy, Alyssa & Merced had to turn around & give informal interviews in our display. They did great, jitters and all! All this wouldn’t have been possible without our behind-the-scenes workers. It was Alyssa, Maggie & Kylie whose vision, many hours making posters & establishing ‘Young Money’s’ I.V. that set the backdrop for our team exhibit. And I can’t leave out the muscle/legs of the whole operation. Martin, Dayson & Ryan hauled in the display, put it together & even sprinted back to the bus to search for a missing piece of PVC. I can’t wait for the fun part. GAME DAY is tomorrow!!! If you have never been to one of these things, you really don’t know what you are missing. 10:30am Percefull Fieldhouse @ NWOSU will be poppin'
